NW BBW needs a change of pace.... and to meet better men!

I`m a single parent, raised two kids alone, and now encountering the proverbial "empty nest." At least it offers me the freedom to travel more when the opportunity presents itself. Mostly I go to the Oregon coast or camping - when I can keep my truck running or get to tag along with friends. I don`t often get far from home, but I collect shotglasses from any states and other special travel destinations that I visit, or sometimes friends get them for me on their travels. I traveled with truck drivers some in my teens and have often missed that life, so I've thought about being a travel companion to a driver if I met someone compatible. Any travel opps would give me an escape from the frustrating drama that my kids & too many friends seem to live to wallow in. Friends describe me as intelligent, articulate, attractive, insightful, honest, sincere, generous, tenacious, affectionate, playful, and trusting to a fault. Love time w/ my kids, friends & grandson, camping, fishing, wildlife, esp bald eagles, chocolate, shopping at thrift stores & garage sales, learning to read tarot, Scrabble, Chinese food, sci-fi, conversation. Regarding religion, I was raised Christian, but in recent years I've been changing my beliefs & started exploring alternative spirituality instead of simply inheriting my parents' beliefs. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but by the emails I've gotten, it seems like I need to be more direct in making the point that some Christians may not approve of how my beliefs have changed, and we won't have much in common in this area.
